March 16, 2007 - Celebrations
On March 16, 2007, a collaborative of five
agencies kicked-off their first annual Celebrations for
Generations Event at the Greeley Freight Station Museum.
Approximately 75 people purchased tickets for the event.
Attendees were treated to gourmet coffees from Gloria Jean’s and
Starbucks, pastries from Harvest Modern Country Kitchen and
Goodberry’s Restaurant and free tours of the museum, which is
scheduled to open the summer of 2008.
The main purpose of this event was to
raise money for the five agencies, whom would share the
proceeds. Attendees were invited to check out the 10 different
future events donated by members of the community and purchase a
ticket for themselves or as a gift. A small list of those
events range from Pheasant Hunting, to Belly Dancing, to Dinner
at the Texas Roadhouse, to a Hot Air Balloon Ride.
Tickets are still available for purchase.
